The relationship between a horse and the person who loves it is unlike any other. It is built on trust, patience, respect, and countless shared experiences that words often cannot describe.

My goal is to preserve that relationship through photographs that feel genuine and deeply personal. Whether it's a quiet moment shared between horse and rider, a knowing glance, or the simple comfort of standing together, I look for the small, unscripted moments that reveal the unique connection they share.

When I photograph people without their horses, my approach remains the same. Rather than creating formal portraits, I photograph them in the places where they feel most at home—whether that's a ranch, a barn, a studio, or out on the land. I want each portrait to tell a story, revealing something honest about who they are and what matters most to them.

I work exclusively with natural light, allowing each image to retain a sense of authenticity, warmth, and timelessness. My hope is that these photographs become more than portraits—they become treasured reminders of the relationships, places, and moments that shape our lives.
